Project Roots

Project Roots is a new innovation begun in 2011 by the Kollel to umbrella the myriad of programs that focus on children and the full family unit.  Young families are a vital need for the future of the Columbus Jewish community.  Project ROOTS is a program providing services to young families in environments and levels of engagement that are comfortable for them.

Project Roots programs include:

  • Lunch with the Rabbi (for public middle school kids)
  • TLC:  Teen Learning Center (for public high school kids)
  • Father and Son Learning Groups
  • Individualized one on one support
  • Fun Day at the Park – Pre Rosh Hashanah social outing for parents/educational arts & crafts for kids)
  • Family Holiday Series Home Groups
  • Open Forum with Rabbi D.•
  • Hadassah Young Women’s Group
  • Columbus Conference for Jewish Women
